A native of North Carolina, I’ve been a professional photographer for over 15 years. Originally from Charlotte, I graduated from Wake Forest University with an undergraduate degree in business. It was during my time at Wake that I cultivated my passion for photography through assistantships with established photographers, working on the Old Gold & Black newspaper staff, and enrolling in every art and photographic elective I could squeeze into my schedule. I studied commercial photography at Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) in upstate New York (home of Kodak) from 1998-2000, and graduated with honors in November of 2000 with a BFA in advertising photography. Shortly thereafter, I was offered a position working as a photographer and imaging specialist in Winston-Salem, NC. Since coming back home, I’ve served the Triad for most of my professional career.
